FOREL 2027: Call for Scientific Proposals in the Canadian Arctic (Deadline: October 15)

Navigation 15.09.2026

FOREL’s next expedition is taking shape! In 2027, one of the missions will take place in the Canadian Arctic, with several scientific stops, including Tallurutiup Imanga (Lancaster Sound), Nunavut.

On this occasion, FOREL is launching a call for scientific proposals for researchers interested in joining the vessel and contributing to the study and conservation of Arctic marine ecosystems.

Call for proposals open until October 15

Proposed projects may explore a range of topics related to polar marine environments, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and collaboration with local communities and stakeholders.

As scientific capacity on board is limited, projects will be selected based on their relevance and complementarity.

Deadline for submissions: October 15, 2026 at 12:00 CET
