As part of the GreenFjord project, led by Julia Schmale (EPFL), we had the honor of welcoming Greenlandic students on board FOREL. The crew was thrilled to share their knowledge and skills, and to exchange insights about the ocean and marine life.
On the agenda: water sampling, testing the drone in the water, discoveries, and moments of camaraderie.
These scientific, artistic, and educational collaborations have been a real success and encourage us to further develop partnerships with Greenlanders. Ending this final leg of the expedition with such human and scientific exchanges was a true pleasure and a highlight of our journey.
